Birdsign Consulting LLC is a Latina, minority, woman-owned microenterprise headquartered in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Mission: To transform the food system and create positive change by empowering people to build healthy communities and financially stable organizations.

Birdsign’s purpose is to create positive change in our communities. We do this by:

working on projects that address inequality,

empowering people to create equitable changes in the food system, and

strengthening organizational and financial structures.

Respectful Collaboration. We respect our staff and clients’time. We acknowledge that we can’t provide services without their contributions. Birdsign collaborates through regular and timely communication and fruitful discussions, while striving to create balance in information exchange. We provide guidance to clients, but do not strive to function as the sole expert in the room.

Healthy Living. We acknowledge that people have lives outside of work. Birdsign encourages staff and clients to prioritize a healthy life/work balance.

Equity at the Center. We are focused on assisting clients who strive for dignity and common good in our society. We support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and aspire to engage in efforts that lead us toward a peaceful and healthy planet.

Reflection and Learning. We work through a human-centered approach, as we, too, are learning. We make time to reflect individually and as a team. Staff regularly participate in discussions that inform decisions.
